A personal message from Erik:

“Hello! Thanks for stopping by. For me, receiving a song request from you is like receiving a birthday present.

I’ve worked with music as a full-time artist the last 12 years and of all the things I do, what I love doing the most is to write songs, especially songs requested by other people.

It gives me a sense of purpose, a sense of meaning and I get to spend my time songwriting and recording.

So for me, being here at Tuneriver means a lot and I feel very honoured to work with your story and to be part of your life in this unexpected and magical way.

I write and record songs in English, Spanish and Swedish with an acoustic guitar, piano, sometimes adding light percussion and other subtle production elements.

The story/lyrics are important to me and I usually use typical pop structures in my songs. I grew up listening to Joni Mitchell, Bruce Springsteen, Paul Simon and other American singer-songwriters so you’ll probably hear som influence in this direction.

One day I will be on a world tour with a big band behind me, performing for sold out stadiums and I hope that when I visit your town, you’ll be there in the audience with me.
